A TAP Air Portugal é a companhia aérea Portuguesa líder de mercado, e membro da Star Alliance desde 2005.

A operar desde 1945, tem o seu hub em Lisboa, plataforma privilegiada de acesso na Europa, na encruzilhada com África, América do Norte, Central e do Sul, a TAP é líder na operação entre a Europa e o Brasil. A rede TAP cobre 92 destinos em 36 países a nível mundial. Operando em média cerca de 2 800 voos por semana, a TAP dispõe de uma frota de 94 aeronaves: 73 aviões Airbus e 21 ao serviço da TAP Express.

A TAP recebe ao longo deste ano 37 novos aviões, de uma encomenda total de 71 aviões que serão recebidos até ao final de 2025, o que transformará a TAP numa das companhias com frota mais jovem do mundo.

"We use HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air) identical to those used in operating rooms. These filters can extract up to 99.999% of even the smallest viruses, including viruses as small as 0.01 micrometre. The viruses of the coronavirus family are between 0.08 and 0.16 micrometres, therefore they are promptly filtered by the HEPA filters, in sections and every 2 to 3 minutes."
