에바 항공은 1991년 여름에 첫 운항을 개시했습니다.

1989년 3월에 출범한 에바 항공은 대만 항공사가 지분을 100% 소유한 민영 항공사로, 세계적 컨테이너 해운업체인 Evergreen Marine Corporation의 자매회사입니다.

1991년 1월 첫 운항 이래 에바 항공은 74대의 항공기로 현재 아프리카를 제외한 4개 대륙의 64개 목적지에 취항하고 있으며, 지속적으로 운항 네트워크를 확대하고 항공기를 증편하고 있습니다. 에바 항공은 2013년 6월 18일에 스타얼라이언스 회원사로 합류했습니다.
