STAR ALLIANCE AND ONLINE TRAVEL TRAINING OFFER Win Airline Tickets by Completing Online Courses
As part of its continuing education activities, Star Alliance has once again linked up with Online Travel Training (OTT) to offer US-based travel professionals the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the leading global airline network, combined with the opportunity to enter a competition to win air travel prizes or Amazon gift cards.
The easy and interactive training modules help travel professionals learn about products, benefits and advantages provided by the Star Alliance network of 28 airlines, which offer more than 18,800 daily flights to 1,317 airports in 193 countries.
“We first ran a joint competition with Online Travel Training as part of our 20th Anniversary activities in 2017. The very positive feedback received from the travel agents community not only lead us to continue to offer the online training, but to once again give those participating the chance to win a selection of prizes”, said Patrick Khoury, Senior Director Sales Air Canada, in his capacity as Chairman of the US Country Steering Council of the Star Alliance member carriers.
To participate in the competition, agents simply need to register here and complete all four modules of the online training course. Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate of accomplishment is issued which automatically enters them into the weekly prize draw. Prizes include 20 Amazon gift cards, each with a value of $100, and complimentary air tickets on Avianca, Avianca Brasil, South African Airways and TAP Air Portugal. The competition runs from June 4th – June 17th, 2018 (5 pm PDT).
The OTT course is also available on mobile devices and the Star Alliance courses will remain online even after the two week special competition.
