Copa Airlines and Copa Airlines Colombia, subsidiaries of Copa Holdings, are the leading airlines in Latin America for passengers and cargo. Copa Airlines currently offers service in 75 destinations in 31 countries, in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean. Throughout 70 years of uninterrupted operations, they have managed to make the Hub of the Americas, located in Panama, into the leading hub of the continent and connecting passengers quickly and efficiently all over the continent.
Copa Airlines has been rewarded thanks to its punctuality close to 90%, one of the best indicators in the industry. Thanks to this punctuality, Copa Airlines has been recognized by FlightStats, for the fifth year in a row, as the most punctual airline in Latin America, and by the Official Airline Guide (OAG) as the fourth most punctual airline in the world, for its results obtained in 2017. In 2016, the company got the award as the "Leading Airline of Mexico and Central America" by the World Travel Awards. Copa was also awarded with two Skytrax awards as "Best Airline of Central America and the Caribbean" and "Best Airline Personnel in Central America".

Pedro Heilbron CEO, Copa Holdings and Copa Airlines
Pedro Heilbron is CEO of Copa Holdings (NYSE: CPA) and Copa Airlines, which offer service to more than 70 destinations in 31 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean from its Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama.
Heilbron was elected Chairman of the Star Alliance Chief Executive Board in December 2016. He currently is a member of the advisory board of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and President of Panama´s National Tourism Council.
Heilbron joined Copa Airlines in 1988. Under his leadership, Copa established the Hub of the Americas in Panama, the most successful hub in Latin America. One of the leading airlines in Latin America, Copa has received considerable international recognition, including 2016 ranking by FlightStats as the most on-time airline in Latin America for the fourth consecutive year, and No. 2 worldwide by OAG for the second consecutive year. In addition, Copa received the award for “Leading Airline in Mexico and Central America” at the World Travel Awards and earned three Skytrax 2016 awards: “Best Airline in Central America / Caribbean,” “Best Airline Staff Service in Central America / Caribbean,” and “Best Regional Airline in Central America / Caribbean.”
