EVA Air launched flights in the summer of 1991.

Founded in March 1989, EVA Air, a one-hundred-percent privately owned Taiwanese airline, is the sister company of Evergreen Marine Corporation, which is the world famous shipping line in terms of container operation. 

Since the inauguration of its maiden flight on July 01, 1991, EVA Air is currently serving 57 destinations over four continents, except Africa, with 73 aircraft and is still steadily expanding its operation network and fleet. EVA Air became a Star Alliance member since 18 June 2013.

For flights over or equal to 3 hours, two-option entrée hot meal service will be available for Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel, Business Class* and single-option entrée hot meal service will be available for Premium Economy/Economy Class. For flights under 3 ready-to-eat food are provided in snack bags for all cabins.

*Inflight "MealOnline" meal pre-ordering service for Royal Laurel Class, Premium Laurel Class, and Business Class is temporarily suspended. 

 

Special meal services:

For flights over or equal to 6 hours*, vegetarian meal, religious meal, baby meal and medical meal will be available. For flights under 6 hours, only oriental vegetarian meal will be available.

*Due to the impact of the pandemic on inflight catering supply chain, all special meal services are suspended on flights departing from London, and only oriental vegetarian meal will be available for flights departing from Paris.
