"Travelling to and from Portugal?

In Portugal it is mandatory to wear face mask and to comply with physical distancing and respect breathing etiquette and hand hygiene. Travel safely at Portuguese Airports.

 

1 - Forms

Passengers bound for mainland Portugal or transferring: It is mandatory to fill-in the Passenger Location Card after check-in, preferably online.

Passengers bound for Madeira: it is mandatory to fill in the Regional Health Authority (IASAÚDE) epidemiological survey, between 12h and 48 hours prior to departure;

Passengers travelling to the Azores must fill in a questionnaire from the Regional Health Authority within 72 hours prior to departure;

Additionally, passengers travelling to Portugal from: Brazil, South Africa, Cyprus, Croatia, France, India, Lithuania, Netherlands and Sweden must register their data on travel.sef.pt and comply with mandatory prophylactic isolation for 14 days.

 

2 – Tests

Upon arrival, all passengers must present a valid RT-PCR test, negative for COVID-19, carried out within 72 hours before boarding.

Children under 24 months are an exception.

In direct flights between Lisbon, Porto and Faro no testes are required.

3 - Prophylatic isolation/Quarantine

Prophylatic isolation for 14 days is now compulsory for passengers arriving from one of the following countries: Brazil, South Africa, Cyprus, Croatia, France, India, Lithuania, Netherlands and Sweden

(Passengers on flights originating initially from South Africa, India and Brazil, which have stopped over or transited through other airports, and passengers on flights, regardless of origin, who present a passport showing a record of departure from South Africa and Brazil within the 14 days prior to their arrival in Portugal).
