Queue management must be done during the check in process and passengers are to adhere to social distancing as well as the markings on the floor. 
Implemented and in place at South African airports.
During the pandemic period it is required that check-in staff perform travel health assessments on passengers before commencement of the boarding steps in minimizing, detection of unwell/ill customers and initiating denial of boarding.  
Temperature screening must be done when passengers enter the airport.

Einsteigen

Passengers will be boarded from the back of the aircraft. Check-in agents to print the relevant zone on the passengers boarding pass. Advise the passenger in which zone he / she is seated and that they should only come to the gate desk when their zone is called. 
Passengers that made use of self-service check in and have no baggage must be temperature screened at the boarding gates.

Passenger screening cards must be available at check-in to assist the staff with the following process. The check-in agent will follow three processes: 
1. Visual Screening - Observe if passenger appears to be obviously unwell (tiredness/fever (feels warm to the touch) / difficulty breathing / dry persistent cough etc.)  2. Passenger Travel History - Have you travelled to a High Risk Area in the past 7 Days - Have you been in Close contact with a Known COVID-19 Positive Person 3. Inquire if passenger is fit to travel and any self-declaration of medical condition.
