Star Alliance voted best Airline Alliance at Business Travaler awards

Star Alliance, the airline network for Earth™, was voted Best Airline Alliance at Business Traveler Magazine’s 2006 Best in Business Travel Awards, held in New York City last week. 
In accepting the award on behalf of the alliance and its 18 member carriers, Philip Saunders, Vice President Commercial, Star Alliance, said: “this award again shows that we offer products and services which are highly valued by our North American customers and enhance their travel experience and that we deliver these consistently across our global network.”

The Business Traveler’s Readers Choice annual survey covers a variety of travel categories and includes 50 fill-in-the-blank questions. The poll is now in its 18th year and is conducted by a third-party agency on behalf of Business Traveler Magazine.
