An internship at Star Alliance - the world’s largest airline alliance - will help you make the leap into the international business world. Through project work in one of our departments you will get an insight into our daily operations and in addition become familiar with the airline industry.

In the following business unit there is a vacancy for an internship:
Internship Facts:
- Start date: January 2013
- Duration: 6-12 months
- Location: Frankfurt Airport Centre, Frankfurt/Main, Germany
Internship Tasks include:
- Interface and assist business units with legal issues
- Assist business units with commercial and contractual negotiations
- Manage and advise business units regarding legal and sourcing department processes and documentation, develop and maintain data bases
- Research in different legal areas and regulatory topics
- Interact with Star business units and with Star Alliance carrier representatives
- Assist the sourcing team in various aspects of purchasing initiatives, including: research and identification of potential vendors, evaluation of proposals, financial analysis for business value justifications for sourcing initiatives, develop and maintain productivity tools (templates, contract, vendor)
Internship Requirements:
- Law student or recent graduate in law
- Fluency in English
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Participation in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, therefore international and cross-cultural experience preferred
- Good communication skills, Cultural awareness, Team spirit, Self-initiative
- Valid Work Permit for Germany
