Star Alliance Services GmbH is an organization based in Frankfurt, Germany. Our mission is to contribute to the long-term profitability of our shareholders – the member carriers - beyond their individual capabilities. We are driving projects and initiatives agreed by the airlines focussing on high value international travellers. We constantly search to reduce complexity and successfully do so by a defined product delivery process. Working in close cooperation with our member airlines, we launch our products and services quickly in the market, which makes us the leading airline alliance in the world.

We understand that people are the centre of our success. Most of our employees are working at our headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. With only 69 employees and other helping hands like our interns we are forming a truly international team with 25 nationalities. We carefully select each employee in an Assessment Centre to assure that everyone fits well into our organization. Many of our employees come from member carriers and are assigned temporarily as specialists in their fields. Others are highly-skilled and self-starting professionals mainly from the airline industry who apply their talent, creativity and dedication and bring a wealth "of experience and knowledge".

Throughout the year, we offer internship possibilities in various departments to students or young graduates. These internships are both administrative and project based and have a duration of 6 to 12 months. An internship at Star Alliance Services GmbH will help you make the leap into the international business world. You will get an insight into our daily operations and projects and in addition become familiar with the airline industry. We will give you an opportunity to work in an international and culturally diverse business environment with English as the main language.

All our interns bring as prerequisites

• University degree
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Cultural awareness and, preferably, international practical experience
• Very high service orientation and highly flexibility. Attitude to be a team player, energetic and a self-starter
