Whilst studying at the London School of Economics, Yasmine Chinwala was already plotting her whirlwind entry into Journalism. She was the Arts Editor of the LSE Newspaper, Editor of the LSE European Society Magazine and President of the Drama Society. Working as a Stage Manager for cult comedy duo Mitchell and Webb, whilst moonlighting as a financial reporter for magazines such as EuroMoney, perfectly sums up Yasmine’s energetic approach to life. But it was when she won the 2003 Adveq European Private Equity award for features on the German market, that Yasmine made up her mind to focus, and threw herself head first into journalism. Yasmine is one of the brightest sparks in business and finance features writing, working as an editor between London and New York for Financial News, the DowJones newspaper and magazine.
