Mr. Zhou Chi

Mr. Zhou Chi graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in 1987. In 1994, he participated in the exchange program jointly held by Shanghai Finance & Economy University and West Virginia University. He studied at West Virginia University for about one year and finally graduated from Shanghai Finance & Economy Institute with Master’s degree in Economy.

From 1984 to 1995, Mr. Zhou Chi held various positions in Shanghai Public Security Bureau, being responsible for city traffic control and internal affairs management, including budget, supply, equipment and infrastructure management. Before joining into Shanghai Airlines Co., Ltd in 1995, he was the Deputy Chief of Shanghai Public Security Bureau as well as the Vice Director of Executive Office of Shanghai Municipal Administration Commission. 

Mr. Zhou Chi has been appointed to the position as Chairman of Shanghai Airlines Co. Ltd. in the year of 2000. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Zhou Chi was President & CEO of Shanghai Airlines. Through his effective management, Shanghai Airlines kept favourable operation and profit record for several consecutive years.
