An internship at Star Alliance Services GmbH, the organization that heads up the world’s largest airline alliance will help you make the leap into the international business world. Through project work in one of our departments you will gain an insight into our daily operations and in addition become more familiar with the global airline and alliance industry.

In the following Business Unit there is a vacancy for an internship:
Commercial: Sales – Conventions and Meetings
Internship Facts:
- Start date: May 2012
- Duration: 6 - 12 months (preferably 9-12 months)
- Location: Frankfurt Airport Center, Frankfurt/Main, Germany
Internship Tasks:
- Support customers, airline members, Manager Conventions and Meetings in daily activities of the Conventions Plus Program
- Maintenance of Conventions Plus Admin Tool / Liaise with vendor
- Marketing Support (website, promotional campaigns, newsletter)
- Trade Show organization
- Organization of Conventions Plus Training and Working Group Meetings
- Sales support activities
- Review and update of Conventions Plus Sales Process Manual
- Compilation of surveys
- Responsible for small own projects
Internship Requirements:
- Degree in international Event / Congress Management / BA in Tourism
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programmes
- Good communication skills
- Cultural awareness
- Team spirit
- Self-starter
- Team spirit
- First job experience an advantage
- Valid work permit for Germany
